I have integrated a few interesting chicken strategies that I am happy to share. Our chicken coop is made of primarily NON toxic pallets. I ferment my chicken food. I made a "Wool Hen" for our baby chicks that they lived in for 5 weeks until we put them with our adult chicken. Also, I use a poop hammock in the coop so that their poop is easy to clean up and keeps the shavings/bedding pretty clean.
